      Is there a way to adjust the BLTouch sensitivity?
      When I home Z it pushes it so much that my nozzles hit the bed.

        It's pretty much a mechanical arrangement; if I remember right, the extended probe should be 8mm lower than the nozzle, or something like that.

        Just add some small washers or oversize nuts on the fixing screws between the probe and whatever it attaches to, to move it down a bit.

        I had to do that on mine, as I miscalculated the height slightly when making the X carriage.

          Thanks.
          Does the probe have to be pressed in that far to send the signal? I assumed it would sense as soon as it touched something (IMMEDIATELY), not several mms of probe movement..

            @pyper said in BLTouch sensitivity:

            It has to move a bit; the pin carries a magnet and that is picked up by a hall effect sensor, as it moves through a certain range.

            The full extend/retract travel ensures it's well below the nozzle when active, and above when parked.

              You can find a specification of the bltouch height compared to the nozzle here:

                Lord have mercy I am embarrassed to say the problem was in my config.g file. I think I copy/pasted someone else's BLTouch settings and didn't update them for my own printer. It is working better now! Using this guide to set it up:
