      Hi All,
Does anyone have a simple method for designing 12864 menu layouts?

I'm going to customise Mudcruzr's display menus to add a second hot end for my Wanhao D4S dual extruder printer conversion to Duet 2 control.

I've started tinkering and have decided that a "trial and error" process for positioning display elements isn't very productive!

Does anyone have any thoughts on a good way to proceed? I've thought about using graph paper to layout the menu system but wondered if anyone else has any bright ideas.

Any constructive thoughts would be much appreciated.

@cncmodeller does the configurator not help?
I'm pretty sure it shows you what the screen would look like
Set it to 6HC and go to the display page
        https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/Display

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

Thanks @jay_s_uk , that's exactly what I want, it doesn't appear when I set the board type to duet2.

Who should I ping to get that option set available for Duet2 in the configurator tool?

          Many thanks again!

@cncmodeller @jay_s_uk The 12864 display editor will be moved to a new DWC plugin at some point, just FYI.

@chrishamm fantastic news on that one. Definitely makes sense to move it out from being dependent on the configtool
