Is it possible to skip a layer or two intentionally while printing? I am printing a large object (700x800x900mm) and I intended to leave the bottom open but I sliced it with 2 bottom layers. I would like to keep the z axis and layer height the same but edit the gcode, while the print is paused, to skip printing the bottom.

@damaged_goods I don't think you can edit the gcode while a file is printing, even when paused.

There is the ability to set the file location (in bytes) https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Reference/Gcodes#m26-set-sd-position which you could do and then try to resume at that file location.

@T3P3Tony Thanks Tony. I think after it lays down the perimeter of the second bottom layer I will just pull the filament. After it's done the remainder of the 2nd layer without filament I'll start with filament again for the 3rd. That at the very least will save me about a 1/2 kg of filament.
