Good morning, I wolud be interested to buy this cam: https://www.amazon.it/Mintion-Beagle-Camera-Monitoraggio-Generazione/dp/B09Z2FH832/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_it_IT=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2RVDBHNZK0NXR&keywords=beagle+cam&qid=1668416434&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIwLjAwIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=beagle+cam%2Caps%2C177&sr=8-1

But I'm wondering if it could work connected to a Duet 2 WiFi (and viceversa, if the Duet 2WiFi keeps on working if connected to this cam).

Someone use both of them "combined"?

      Thanks

@TheDragonLord it probably would be as its not different to using something like octoprint.
you can also use it concurrently with the web interface.
printing from the beaglecam will result in some features not working though, see here https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/RepRapFirmware_overview#printing-over-usb-connection-octoprint-cura-simplify3d-etc

and its a shame they update it irregularly!

We will be releasing new Beagle camera firmware and Beagleprint app irregularly

Do you have a thread on that issue?

@Phaedrux it's that they don't work when streaming gcode over USB, not that they don't work in general

@jay_s_uk Are we talking filament sensors or cameras?

Nevermind. I see what you mean now.

                  @Phaedrux filament sensors

The Duet control board supports printing your gcode files over a USB connection streamed by a gcode sender software like those mentioned in the title. However, there are limitations, including, but not limited to:

Print statistics, such as remaining time estimation, current layer etc, not showing.
Pause print will have to be handled by the GCode sender, and will take longer because all queued moves will have to complete before the pause takes place.
                  Filament sensors will not function.
Resume after power fail will not function.
Print speed may be limited because many GCode senders can't supply data fast enough over USB, so print time may be extended.
It is strongly recommended that you use the Duet Web Control for machine control and the internal SD card for gcode printing, however, if your application requires printing over USB, such as using the Mosaic P

Yes, I understood but if I have to monitor a print via a cam or use a Mosaic Palette (wich I was thinking about) it means that they are unuseable, ok, with the palette is a non-problem but with the cam it is
