Duet 3 MB6HC 12 volt fan pins

Can I use the 12 volt pin seen in the picture I posted for a 12 volt always-on fan, or is this a bad idea? The fan is meant for the extruder/hotend and doesn't need to be adjustable. Sorry if this is an obvious thing or if it's been answered already. I checked https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Wiring_your_Duet_3 and it seems to agree with this, but I'd rather get a second opinion than damage my board.

@jay_s_uk Thanks. I ended up connecting it via OUT 4 instead, though, since at the time of posting I didn't realize those ports can be set to 12 volts or 24 volts just by moving the jumper on the three pins above OUT 4 and OUT 7 (to the right, in this case). Big dumb oversight on my end, but I've never used jumpers before. Hopefully this helps someone else who's as clueless as me.
