Mellow 7" screen setup

@tecno I suspect the display of a square bed is fixed in the display firmware.
For the Levelling command, if you connect terminal emulator to the Duet via USB and send M111 S1 P3 then you will be able to see in the terminal what command(s) the display sends when you try to use the levelling function.

@tecno In the next version, I will set a button to switch between circle and square. For multi-point leveling, you need to move the nozzle to the designated position first, and then press and hold the button for 3 seconds. There will be a prompt when it succeeds, and the system will automatically record the button xy coordinates

@FLY
Looking forward to next version, hopefully very soon. -
@dc42
What terminal emulator do you suggest to use in Linux/Ubuntu? I love Yat but need a good replacement to be used on my DWC PC with my printers.Merry Xmas to you all!

Trying Cutecom but it will not open = Access Denied
-
Did dig out one of my old laptops W10 with YAT.
So my conclusion is that this 7" screen is useless on Delta as regards leveling screen.
-
@tecno Im not dc42 but I prefer minicom as serial console since it autoconnects as soon as the board comes up.
-
Can not get minicom to work , same as Cute can not connect !
-
@tecno maybe a permissions problem, but for debugging Linux systems I'd need to charge (-:
