Just wondering if there was a way to get this display to work with a Duet Mini 5+

Is intended to connect via USB to a Raspberry Pi running Klipper, but I decided to setup my Voron 0 with a Duet Mini 5+

Looks like all the necessary signal lines are exposed on the back of the board. Wondering if anyone had input on if just making the connections to the Duet would work or if there would be more needed.

Edit: Looks like the actual display is a sh1106 and communicated with via i2c.

@blt3dp that display isn't supported and neither are displays over i2c I'm afraid.
Options for a display are a 12864 like one of the mini ones or a larger display or something that works over serial.
BTT TFTs sort of work but I really wouldn't recommend them

@jay_s_uk Thanks, I figured as much. I'm using a BTT Mini 12864 and it seems to work well. I just have to find/design custom mounting for it. I figured I would try and skip that by going with the "spec" screen.

@blt3dp I have to agree w Jay about not recommending the BTT 12864. I got one all set working on my mini 5 and then I when I went to go mount it to the machine, an ender, the touch screen would stop working and buzzer would sound intermittently. Googling revealed this is a common issue and theres grounding gremlins with that display. I tried insulating and while mouning it and nothing seemed to work. It worked fine free hanging, but not when mounted anyway I could figure.

If you can get it to work ok for you great, but I'd be mildly surprised if you do.

@wayneosdias @jay_s_uk, I think we might be talking about different BTT screens. The one I'm using successfully, after tweaking the menu files to my liking is this one.

It's basically a standard non touch screen, 12864 display using a ST7567 controller

@R4ffers, thanks, looks like I'll be doing the upgrade to a v0.2, I'll probably tweak something to fit afterwards.

I was just commenting that the TFTs they do aren't well supported.

                Their 12864s are fine
