      Hello,

I am trying to connect via YAT to a duet 3 6xd that is new.
I have used YAT for connecting to multiple duet 2 wifi boards, so I know the drivers are installed on my computer.

I have everything plugged in correctly via USB-C and a power bank. All the lights on the board are on. The reset light is flashing and the ethernet light is flashing.

I am not able to find the board in the device manager ports in order to confirm the drivers are mapped correctly. YAT is not able to recognize the duet board in any of the ports when auto searching.

      Any advice would be appreciated!

If the Duet has an SD card inserted and a config.g file present with M552 S1, it should try and get an IP address from the network, which you could try accessing the DWC from.

The Duet 3 can be more picky about USB connections. Try different ports, cables, or a USB hub.

@Phaedrux I have the original card in the motherboard. I took it out and checked it had the firmware with the original config file. It does have the code saying use either 192.168.1.14 or just turn on M552 S1.
I have the ethernet plugged into a switch, along with my main network input and computer ethernet.

I did not get to DWC with the board on and comp searching for the network.
Still no port connection to YAT with a different computer, chords, and ports.
Tried searching for local connections in the command prompt, but cant find a used network for DWC.

@Phaedrux I also have a Panel connected, and the console on the panel is not returning information if I enter M115 or M552.

              Still working on this.

Not connected to YAT yet. Or response from the Panel Console.

Should I try getting new firmware? Why if the lights are on can I not receive any port connection to the PC. or in YAT?

                @Phaedrux

I have a cable that does connect the board. But I am getting an error message when starting a terminal.

I have confirmed the device is found in a port. and has the correct drivers.

How can I remove that error?

The config.g requires a command present to enable the paneldue before it will work.

Before we try wiping the firmware let's see if you can get the panel to communicate with the board and see if you can get the ip address and connect via DWC.

@djthuma looks to me that you need to run that terminal in admin mode to be permitted access to the port.

I was able to get a port that connected and YAT got past the error.
I have connected, changed the gateway and subnet.
I was able to access the duet panel controls.
So this aspect of my projects I can say is solved!

                      Thank you very much!
