Wonder if it is possible to connect a melt pressure transducer to Duet 3HC. Want to add a melt pump to my pellet extruder, using a pressure transducer either side of the pump would be very useful to regulate flow.
    Any help would be appreciated.

@Hoops40 do you have some examples of the potential transducers? we support a linear-analog sensor so it may be possible to use that concept with a pressure transducer depending on the sensor's electrical interface.

@T3P3Tony apologies for the delay, sensor is a PT131 pressure transducer.

@Hoops40 said in Melt pressure transducer:

          PT131 pressure transducer

do you have a data sheet for the specific one? from a quick internet search you can get ones with a 0-5V output which, with a voltage divider or other interface circuit might work as a linear analog input to the Duet. That said i note they also have temperature sensor inbuilt so i expect they need temperature compensation and even when temperature compensated not sure how linear they would be.

@Hoops40 it looks to me that you would need to provide a stable supply to the device (the datasheet says 10V recommended, but you could probably get away with 5V) and connect a strain gauge amplifier to the output.
