      @jay_s_uk - thanks.

      I did not know how to attach yat results, so here is a link to my cloud copy of m122 file:
      https://drive.google.com/file/d/1D7v9JxPmQ4dLjUtWh55y0Khf83Ro-7P1/view?usp=sharing
      after clearing 588 as sugggested.

      also, the newly installed firmware is: duet2 combined firmware.bin v 3.4.5
      does it include wifi firmware? did not deal separately with wifi firmware

        @oolyk that doesn't include the wifi firmware. You are on 1.26 for the wifi firmware and, although it's not the latest (which is 1.26), it's still compatible with 3.4.5
        Your network strength is a little on the low side (-66db). The recommended strength is -60db or better.
        Does nothing load at all when you try the ip address in a browser?
        Can you ping the duet?

          When you updated the firmware did you also update the DWC files on the SD card?

                You need to extract the files to the WWW folder on the SD card.

                  @Phaedrux and Jay, thanks but so far nothing worked. extracted the dwc to the sd card, did not help.

                  a stupid question: is it possible that a full firmware {latest) for duet2 wifi , including everything necessary, will be placed in a cloud so that simple copy paste into an sd card will work?

                  also, is there a way to change config.g thru yat? or with the bare sd card thru usb in the pc?

                    @oolyk said in duet2 wifi does not respond:

                    was able to connect to wifi only thru hotpoint (all other wifi channels at home did not work)

                    So the wifi module works when using the access point mode, but it can't connect to your own network? The Duet can only connect to 2.4ghz networks, does your router put out a separate 2.4ghz network?

                      @Phaedrux
                      yes. I have a separate 2.4 network.

                      another hint: after months of dead paneldue, I managed to fix the problem (firmware) and it now works. yet the paneldue cannot connect to the duet board. does that help in understanding what is the source of the problem?
                      is it possible that completely wrong config.g blocks connection? and if so, how can I access the config.g while I cannot talk to the board?

                      thank you for your patience.

                        Post your full config.g

                        Do you have the command to enable the PanelDue in your config.g?

                          this is the config.g from the firmware I had newly downloaded and is completely wrong for me. connected to pc thru usb, I cannot change anything in it or replace the entire file.

                          by the way, the paneldue is active but would not connect.

                            @oolyk yea, that config won't work with 3.4.5
                            you're probably best off generating a new one for your machine using the configurator https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/

                              here is a copy of my last working config:

                              how to load it into my duet2 board when i cant connect to it? sd card thru usb to pc is locked and not changeable (tried to unlock it in the pc, did not work)

                              I can do bossa but which files I use for it?

                                @oolyk those files live on the SD card so if your SD card is locked and not working, you need a new one

                                  @jay_s_uk this is micro sd and it does not any lock in it so it must be in the pc, but as I said I could not unlock it.

                                    @oolyk then try a different pc. otherwise replace the sd card

                                      @jay_s_uk I just thought about something. I loaded the firmware with bossa. it has couple of internal settings and one of them is "lock". they recommend locking and I did.
                                      so now i will start all over again and try without locking.
