Motedis 2020 i-type drop in t-nuts
-
I followed dc42's build guide for kossel build, and got 2020 i-type extrusions from Motedis.
I ordered t-nuts (m3,m4 and m5) from Robotdigg, but it seems they dont fit the Motedis extrusions.
Where can I find t-nuts that work?-Jannis

No other place to get them?
Motedis do not ship to Norway, so I had to get it shipped to a different country, and pick it up there.
It was ok for the extrusions, due to the huge save in cost, but the t-nuts will be pretty expensive unless I can get them elsewhere.-Jannis

These should work too, but the can be a pain sometimes since there is no spring on them

These are the ones I got that's for B-type and not I-type.
B-type = 6mm, I-type = 5mm.
Eg. they wont turn in the slot unfortunately-J

If you have access to a 3d printer you could print your own t nuts. There are various types on thingiverse.

If you have anything but 6mm t slots, give up. I could never find anything either. Why it is even made, I don't know. Even the company in the states (8020.com) doesn't list any for their own extrusions.

The nuts in this listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M3-M8-Steel-ball-T-Slot-Nuts-Aluminum-Accessories-For-20X20-30-40-45-Series/112320385722?hash=item1a26d112bam38cKecNc9nTnsZvvf6qREg look the same as the Motedis ones. But what you really need to know is the slot width that they are designed for.
I have some Motedis nuts left over, but probably not as many as you need.
