Vibrations after update to 3.4.6 for circles and arcs
-
Hello
Since the update I have had strong vibrations on the hotend whenever I print circles and arcs.
I ask for help.
I'm also unsure how much acceleration and jerk I should set
Thanks

@R3D3 dont run 256 microstepping. 16 or 32 is sufficient
-
@jay_s_uk Thanks. I'll change it and report back with the result
-
@jay_s_uk I have now switched to 16 steps. The motors/drivers are now very loud. no more whispers
-
@R3D3 the default mode is spreadcycle from 3.4. You may want to switch to stealthchop (something like
D3 V40
on each M569 line where the motor is noisy). Or turn on interpolation using I in M350. or do both -
@jay_s_uk I would like to apologize because I accidentally set the motor current too high. Now everything is back to the right volume.
I now leave the steps at 16 with "I1"
That's how it should be right!?Thanks for the friendly help

@R3D3 yep, thats right

Sound like you have disabled microstep interpolation. X16 microstepping with interpolation is normally quiet.
Edit: I see you have corrected that now.
