During a 24 hour print , my printer stops mid-print . I have no clou what is triggering the printer to stop.

I start the printer and everything looks fine.
This happend a few times now and every time at a different position.
I've changed the power supply but that didn't help much.
I'm using the Duet 3 Mini 5+ Wifi.

Does somebody have the solution for me?
      Thanks in advance!!
      Beste regards,
      Marc

@Marc-KeyserCraft the reset reason is Last reset 00:00:54 ago, cause: reset button
i remember a couple of people having issues like this before for which i think the cause was potentially static build up on the hotend (so grounding the hotend helps). i'm not sure whether any adjustments were made to the firmware

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@Marc-KeyserCraft yes, update your firmware. you're on 3.3RC2 and the latest stable is 3.4.6

                @jay_s_uk

                Solved!

This is what I have done:

                • I updated the firmware to version 3.4.6
                • I grounded the hot-end with a wire to the ground of the power supply.

                Side note:

During the last week when I was having the problem of the printer stopping midprint and resetting , I put on the heating in the printerroom.
The temperature was a convenient 23 degrees Celsius and the humidity had dropped to 45%,and that's low.
I can imagine that the low humidity has a negative effect on the buildup of static electricity causing the printer to stop and reset.
I'm not sure but I can imagine.....

@jay_s_uk : Thanks again and enjoy you're weekend.

                Best regards,

                Marc
