Printer stops midprint,
-
During a 24 hour print , my printer stops mid-print . I have no clou what is triggering the printer to stop.
I start the printer and everything looks fine.
This happend a few times now and every time at a different position.
I've changed the power supply but that didn't help much.
I'm using the Duet 3 Mini 5+ Wifi.Does somebody have the solution for me?
Thanks in advance!!

@Marc-KeyserCraft the reset reason is
Last reset 00:00:54 ago, cause: reset button
i remember a couple of people having issues like this before for which i think the cause was potentially static build up on the hotend (so grounding the hotend helps). i'm not sure whether any adjustments were made to the firmware -
@Marc-KeyserCraft yes, update your firmware. you're on 3.3RC2 and the latest stable is 3.4.6

@jay_s_uk
Thanks!!
But I'm wondering, It has always worked the way it is, what makes this from happening al of a sudden?I'm going to update now...
Thanks again...

Solved!
This is what I have done:
- I updated the firmware to version 3.4.6
- I grounded the hot-end with a wire to the ground of the power supply.
Side note:
During the last week when I was having the problem of the printer stopping midprint and resetting , I put on the heating in the printerroom.
The temperature was a convenient 23 degrees Celsius and the humidity had dropped to 45%,and that's low.
I can imagine that the low humidity has a negative effect on the buildup of static electricity causing the printer to stop and reset.
I'm not sure but I can imagine.....@jay_s_uk : Thanks again and enjoy you're weekend.
Best regards,
Marc
