I own a Duet Maestro and I haven't had a hand in it for several years. Having decided to make substantial changes to the printer, I would like to know how to update the software while still having version 2.05 of the firmware.
I have BL Touch installed on the printer. Could I have problems doing this update?
where do I find the files to update?
thanks in advance for your answers.

@luca-f13 By software, do you mean DWC, or do you mean the machine configuration? If you mean DWC, it is best to use the version that shipped with the same firmware version. If you mean the configuration, yes you can update the configuration without updating the firmware. You can use the older configuration tool https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/legacy/Start to help set up your files, or at least give examples to add to your files. BLTouch is supported in 2.05.

Note that RRF v2.x is not supported or developed any longer. We recommend updating to RRF 3.x (current release is 3.4.6) to be able to use all the current features, bug fixes and improvements. To update to 3.x, if you still have access to DWC, upload these zip files one at a time in the system tab. Don't extract them first. Reboot after each. Use M115 in the gcode console to verify the firmware has been applied.

You'll need to generate a fresh config set for RRF3. https://configtool.reprapfirmware.org/
There are notes on migrating between 2.x and 3.x here: https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Migration_RRF2_to_RRF3

If you really don't want to upgrade to 3.x, make sure you are at least on the final version of RRF 2.x, which is 2.05.1: https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/2.05.1

This may prove useful as well since it's been so long.
