Help with first time using Duet3D
-
Hello, I'm very new to the Duet3D.
A friend ask me for help with a custom Duet3D printer, connected to a SBC Raspberry PI 3.The printer was with some CAN errors and since it wasn't used during a while we thought it was a good idea to upgrade to the latest oficial firmware.
We've done backup of the config files and created the OS with the Pi Imager, and now when it reboots, the Duet3D logo appears, and than the screen turns black.If anyone can point me a direction to be able to see the RPI OS image again, it will be very appreciated.

Which image exactly did you download?
Have you tried to SSH into the Pi yet? -
@Phaedrux thanks for helping!
I downloaded the image DuetPi-lite.zipI am not very used to RPI, and I don't know the IP because the screen is black.. but I will try to SSH

The lite image does not have a desktop environment if that's what you're expecting?
-
I see! That explains the black screen
Could you advice on the right image with desktop environment? -
@guibot Download one of the non-"lite" images from here https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Machine_configuration/SBC_setup#h-1-flash-the-image-file
I'd probably recommend https://pkg.duet3d.com/DuetPi.zip (32-bit version with desktop environment) for RPi 3, as usually they only have 1 or 2GB of memory.Ian
