Duet custom board on Fusion3 F410
-
Does anyone know if the custom board that was built for the Fusion3 F410 has any extra control pins that might be able to control a 12v or 24v switch or relay activated by gcode? It would be similar to what is used in many smaller tabletop laser or cnc's where a solenoid is opened to start air flow for the laser or other device.
Any thoughts?

@jfhunt the only controllable outputs on that board are the four OUT ports.

@dc42 , I've not opened up the side panel yet to look. What are the four out ports for? There are two x-y steppers, one hot-end extruder, there are then two fans, one exhaust the other is the hot end cooling fan. That's 5. I'm new at this.

@jfhunt I wasn't counting the stepper motor output.
OUT0 is a high current output suitable for a hot end heater.
OUT2 is a lower current output with VIN on the positive pin, suitable for a fan that takes VIN voltage. It includes a flyback protection diode.
OUT1 and OUT3 are supplied with 5V on the positive pin, intended I think for 5V fans. However the mosfets switching them are rated much higher, so OUT1_NEG and OUT3_NEG could be used to switch higher voltage loads. There are no flyback protection diodes on these outputs.

You might want to post a photo or two of the board you're talking about, if its one I'm thinking of its not made by Duet so no one here is going to know what you're asking about.
