DuetWifi 1.21, if you restart your router bye bye DuetWebControl…
-
I start a print, everything is perfect and DWC is working perfectly.
For another therms i restart my router and i see than now is impossible conect to the DWC, i am thinking than the DuetWifi not reconnect to my router.
Now my print continue printing perfectly… but i can't see the DWC.
Some idea how reconnect without lose the print? USB? I think than if i connect the USB the board will be restart...Somebody can test If his DuetWifi reconnect if you reboot your router?
I can't remember well but i think than in the version 1.20 not happen...

Do you have a panel due connected?
Did you have an IP address reserved in the routers DHCP table?
Have you rebooted the router again?
If you don't have a panel due you can connect via usb terminal and disable and re enable the wifi and hopefully it reconnects.
-
Not
I don't know, could you explain better? I use normal DHCP. I don't do nothing special in the router
Yes, i try like 4-5times and i test with different PCs reconnect
But if i connect now the USB, my printer will stop? is printing a important piece, will take more than 40hours…

You won't lose the print if the web interface disconnects. However, if you reboot the router then the Duet WiFi will give up trying to reconnect to it after a little while. You can send M552 S1 via USB or PanelDue to tell it to reconnect again.
-
Google the name and model of your router and the words DHCP reservation and see if you can find the manual to show you how to reserve an IP address for the DuetWIFI. Most routers will try and give the same device the same ip address over and over again, but setting up a reservation means it will always be given that ip and it won't be given out to something else if the duet is turned off for a period of time.

Perhaps is better configure Static IP for the Duet?
By the way, i found in my router this config -

But now when i insert the USB connector the board don't will restart?
I ask this because in arduino yes happen this. you insert USB and the board restart -
The Duet will not restart when you connect USB unless you have a bad ground loop issue. See https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/USB_ground_loops.

Finally i conecta my laptop and send M552 S1, and work!

Glad you got that sorted. How did your print turn out?

But this board is incredible and DWC also!
