The last icon in the row in the new post window will let you upload a photo, but they are limited in size. Alternatively you can put them online somewhere and post a link to them or use the image tags.

You can upload photos from the editor by clicking on the "upload image" button as shown below:

or if you have the images hosted someplace else, you can use the "picture" button as shown below:
