@Ronaldandijk how new is your Duet?

        On v1.04 L3 is A220R ferrite bead 0805 package
        MPZ2012S221AT000

        On earlier versions it's a 1210 1uH inductor
        BRL3225T1R0M

@ronaldandijk inf you have a 1.02 then its the same as 1.03. Are you overloading the 5V system or did you get a short? The 5V BUCK regulator has thermal shut down so if the current gets too high then it should shut down so its interesting that the ferrite bead on the output side blew before the thermal shut down kicked in.

@t3p3tony I was not paying attention to the polarity of the bltouch and i shorted out the ferrite bead.
i know .......that was stupid.Hooked up the usb to check if else is working cpu is working i can still connect to the duet trough wifi .I Found the part but the amp value is 2.4 a but i think that should not be a problem .

@ronaldandijk Ahh I see, thanks for the additional information - useful datapoint about shorts on the %V system.

And L3 is replaced with a BRL3225T1R0M from TAIYO YUDEN.

Is it possible to put MPZ2012S221AT000 instead of BRL3225T1R0M on the board at 1.02? There is a suspicion that the inductance does not work, but the BRL3225T1R0M is not available in stores. Analogues in the same building could not find 😞

                    Thanks in advance!

                      Yes, that should work.
