      Hi all,
After some reading, I am wondering if I should use stall detection for my homing process on the CoreXY I am designing.

It needs to be a very accurate homing position, so is it the right choice? With enough tweaking can I get to a high degree of repeatability, or should I decide now to go for sensors instead?

As I am still designing, I can probably find the space to place sensors. If I have to add them later, it might be more difficult.

No, stall detection is not accurate enough on its own see:

microswitches as endstops are low cost, repeatable and easy to use!

          Thanks Tony,
That is what I thought, just wanted a sanity check.
Although in my case sanity is probably a wrong word.
