    Hello evyerone,

i recently changed my e3D Titan (Bowden) to a Bondtech QR 3.0 (Bowden) and changed the Steps to 492.45 as the Product Page descriped. https://www.bondtech.se/en/product/qr/
I also changed the current to 1.2A but i get realy weird Results like this:

    https://cloud.as-3ddruck.de/index.php/s/xT8iProjctea3KC

    and other Perspective:
    https://cloud.as-3ddruck.de/index.php/s/ZDpLkp3rjEQkXHF

    The First 33% i use 110% Extrusion.
    To 66% - Extrusion = 100% and to 100% Extrusion = 90%.

I got with my e3D Titan Results like this:
    https://cloud.as-3ddruck.de/index.php/s/Rc4zEiNBwtf5asg

I got extruder pressure advance enabled maybe that is the Problem. 😕

    Here is my config:
    https://pastebin.com/rj5ZdCKD

Got somebody a Idea what i do wrong/have to change?

    Best regards

Are you really using 3mm filament? In any case, it's always best to calibrate the steps per mm to suit your own machine. Suggest you do that. For sure, disable pressure advance for now. If you were getting some slippage on the Titan, there is a good chance that you won't on the Bondtech, so you'll likely need different pressure advance in any case. Also put the current back to what you had with the Titan. Basically, you should change only one thing at a time. When you change several things all at once, it makes fault finding that much more difficult.

@deckingman I use 2.85mm but the Extruder Supports that aswell. ☺

I disabled it and print that Thing with the same Extrusions once again, but it looks already now promising.
My current was already at 1.2A so should be good, but i trust Bondtech if they say it has to be that many Steps and that Voltage.

I will just try to print that and tell in what results that Test ended. ☺ 👍

I printed it again with pressure advance off, but it looks not realy different...

(left the old right the new)

Btw. i use a 800mm Capricorn Bowden Tube to my e3D V6 just to know the lenght that the Filament has to travel. 🙂

Start out with the steps Bondtech or any vendor tells you. But you have to calibrate to make it accurate afterwords. I have both a titan and bondtech... from what I remember, the vendor numbers always had me over extruding (on both extruders). Some people also calibrate with every role of filament. But I don't re calibrate steps unless I see problems.

Fun, that 3 letter word with "u" in the middle.

Thx Guys, it was realy about 20% under extruding.
Made the same Test with 120% Extrusion based on the Bondtechs Steps and it works an looks insane good.

Thx for the Help Guys i call it good for now and try to print cool Things. 😁 👍

              Best regards
