      Configuration:
      DuetWiFi 1.03
      2.02(RTOS) (2018-12-24b1)
      berd-air is connected to P1
power is controlled by non-latching "start" button as described here
      related config.g line: M106 P1 L20 X150 F22500 H-1 B0.1 S0

      What happens
when i reboot machine either by mushroom button or by DWC "Emergency Stop" machine goes into reboot, but does not wake up after it. Reason: connected berd-air starts working at 100% , as @dc42 explained - it is safety feature . so, this air pump sucks all power off board and PS_ON realy disconnects.
I have disconnected air pump - reboot works as it should.

      Proposed solution:
implement a 5 seconds delay on boot before switch on any fan.
this will save power for PS_ON relay to keep power on.

        I don't understand?
When using PS_ON you should add an external 5V power supply to power Duet and PS_ON relay.

You could move the Berd Air to a different fan output so that is doesn't start power up.

please advise which ports start powered at board boot, and which are not.

                From https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_and_configuring_fans .

We recommend you use the FAN1 connector for a thermostatically-controlled hot end fan, because on the Duet 2 it defaults to being on at power up, to provide maximum safety if you restart your Duet when the hot end is hot.

@aidar Yes, but the OP is using a berd-air which is for part cooling, not hot end cooling.
