Unable to Connect Duet Ethernet via Web Interface
-
From the post above it states to change the config.g file. How and where do I do this?
-
-
@aidar Yes but I don't see where it shows me to change the config file.
-
Your config file is on your SD card in \sys folder. If you cant connect to your Duet via network, then take your card out of Duet, put it in your computer and edit it there. If you dont know, what to edit in config file, then this can help you : https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCartesianPrinter

Thanks, I will try it when I am home.
-
@aidar Ok I removed the M40 command and changed the IP to 0.0.0.0....and I still can't connect..anything else I am missing?
-
What response do you get when you send command M552 via the USB port?

The M552 response shows that the Duet failed to get an IP address. Do you have the Duet connected to your router, or directly to a PC or laptop?
-
@dc42 It is connected to a powered land line.
-
@dc42 Question....can the computer I am using be in Wifi? or does it have to be in a land line?

It shouldn't matter as long as you're both connected to the same router.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "powered land line".
-
@dc42 I think the problem was that the computer I was using was on WiFi....I ran land lines to the computer and the Duet and it's working now...
-
@dc42 i also did the steps but its not working either
