I wanted to bring my printer to school and connect it to the wifi, but the IT people said that the web interface should comply with OWASP. Does anyone know if DWC adheres to OWASP guidelines?

OWASP is not a standard, it is an organisation that runs a number of projects. Out of some of those projects come sets of guidelines. Which particular guidelines is your school concerned about?

@jml It almost certainly does not conform looking at the list. Also it is generally not a good idea to put it on an open network (where you do not control the access) like the internet or a school network. I would use access point mode:

            https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Gcode#Section_M589_Configure_access_point_parameters

and have it on its own network.
