    Hi guys just a question
Has anyone had trouble printing with black filament?
I try to print so many times with Black filament and so many times after a couple hours the material stop to coming out...
I checked if the nozzle is plugged but when i push the filament into the nozzle, the material comes out.
After that i sent the same print program (without clean the nozzle) with the same supplier material but grey or white, and the print ends without problems.
    Thanks

I know some guys in our hackerspace who had troubles printing cheap black filament too. It is possible that there are recycled materials in it (black color hides everything)...

On the other hand, I use Dailyfil black filament without any problem.

Someone at my local hackspace threw out a roll of black filament that they couldn't get to work. I picked it up, and it worked just fine in my delta printer. Maybe it needed a slightly different temperature, or something like that.

Hi guys I found a problem in the fillament with some segments with higher diameter than 1,75mm, anyway this issue looks (for me ) more frequent in the black fillament.
          Thanks for your suggestions.
          Bye

@jv I think it's more likely to be the brand or perhaps a particular batch, or even the type (you don't say if it's PLA, PET-G, ABS or some other) than the colour of the dye. I've printed very many Kgs of black filament it PLA and various types of PET-G (my entire printer is black) and never had any problems that I could put down to colour. I did have some awful black PET-G but that was due to it having a high moisture content - not the colour.

Right, i forgot to mentioned that i was talking about PLA (35 euro/Kg), i supposed that the price guarantees the quality
