    • RE: encoder filament motion

Iwere wrong with the c parameter.
I should use the C4 and not the C5. 😌
      Now i'm getting this result:
      M591 D0
Pulse-type filament monitor on endstop input 4, enabled, sensitivity 0.06mm/pulse, allowed movement 50% to 140%, check every 6.0mm, current position 0.0, measured sensitivity 0.057mm/pulse, measured minimum 95%, maximum 105% over 548.4mm
i'll make some test now that is working.
      I'll keep you up-to-date
      Thanks again David

    • jERKY MOVEMENTS IN TRAVEL MOVEMENTS

      HELLO GUYS

I have an issue in the X & Y travel acceleration movements, when it start accelerate it goes very fast but it looks like when is reaching the top speed it decelerates a bit and starts again so it creates a jerk movement.

i have a duet 2 ethernet and a expansion breakboard to drive brushless servomotors .

then at the moment i have to work whit low acelerations values (considering that i have an industrial servomotors, big bed dimension and 20mm pitch ballscrew in the X & Y axes)

      This are my settings:

      M584 X5 Y6 Z7 E3:4 U0 V1
      M350 E16:16 I1 U64 V64
      M92 X410.4 Y410.4 Z819.2 E675.958:675.958 U390.85 V390.85
      M566 E700.00:700.00 U500 V500
      M203 X60000.00 Y60000.00 Z3000.00 E2000.00:2000.00 U20000 V20000
      M204 P700 T2000
      M201 X2000 Y2000 Z500.00 E600.00:600.00 U500 V500
      M906 E1270.00:1270.00 U300 V300
      M84 S35

I really apreciate if some body could give me an advice about how i can increase the acceleration whit out jerky movements.

    • RE: external servomotors with duet 3

@dc42 thank you for your fast response.

I need 3 servos output signal (step/dir) for X,Y and Z axis and 2 steppers for the extruders .

could you tell me how many digital I/O will be present in the Duet 3 MB6XD and when will it be available for purchase?

      Thanks

    • external servomotors with duet 3

      hello guys
I have a 3d printer working with duet 2 and the expansion board to connect external brushless servomotors.
I would like to know if i want to upgrade to a DUET3, can i connect the servomotors? how?
It is convenience to upgrade from DUET2 to DUET 3?
I'll need more digitals I/O, with the duet 3 can i have it?
      Thanks for your help.

    • RE: DUAL EXTRUDER DUAL FAN

hello @Phaedrux i'm using Simplify 3d and it doesn't support dual fan, so i try to do the configuration described in the tool definition chapter to avoid this problem.

      https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareCartesianPrinter#Section_Tool_definition_section

this is one example of gcode :

    • DUAL EXTRUDER DUAL FAN

      HI GUYS
I HAVE A DUAL EXTRUDER PRINTER AND EACH EXTRUDER HAS A ONE FAN.
AS YOU WILL SEE IN MY CONFIG I MAPP EACH FAN FOR EACH TOOL (TOOL 0 FAN 0 AND TOOL 1 FAN 2 )

WHEN I SEND A NEW PROGRAM TO THE PRINTER, WHEN IT STARTS TO PRINT THE SECOND LAYER, THE FAN1 NEVER TURN ON AND THE FAN 2 TURN ON AND IT DOESN'T STOP UNTILL THE MACHINE REACH THE END OF THE PROGRAM.

      WHEN I SEND M106 F0 S1 THE FAN0 TURN ON
      WHEN I SEND M106 F2 S1 THE FAN 2 TURN ON
AND WHEN I SEND M107 ALL THE FANS TURN OFF

ANY BODY CAN TELL ME WHY IT DOESN'T WORKS CORRECTLY WHEN IS PRINTING A PART?

      ; Fans
      M106 P0 I1 F25000
      M106 P2 I1 F25000

      ; Tools
      M563 P0 D0 H1 F0 S"DYZE1" ; Define tool 0
      G10 P0 X-45 Y0 Z0 ; Set tool 0 axis offsets
      G10 P0 R190 S225 ; Set initial tool 0 active and standby temperatures to 190C

      M563 P1 D1 H2 F2 S"DYZE2" ; Define tool 1
      G10 P1 X46 Y-0.5 Z0 ; Set tool 1 axis offsets
      G10 P1 R190 S225 ; Set initial tool 1 active and standby temperatures to 190C

      THANKS

    • RE: pwm voltage

i found a device to heat the air pushed inside of my chamber by a fan , the problem that i actually have is that at the maximun power of the heater, the output air can reach more than 300°C and it can be obviously a big problem for the components that i have inside of my machine and for the safety.

if i'm not wrong i can limitate the power of the heater making the maximun pwm output signal in a percentage like 20% when is at maximun output right?

So if the output signal at 100% mean 300°c, Can I setting that output parameter when the heater at maximun power will be just the 20% (80°C) to avoid in any case a 300°c temperature in the air output?

      Thanks for your help

    • pwm voltage

      Hi guys
I would add a device to heat my 3d printer chamber and the device seller ask me if i have 10 to 24 volts pwm output signal from my duet2 board to pilot this device.

Could any body tell me please the voltage that i have in the pwm output?

If i have 3.3v or 5v in the pwm output signal, is possible to pilot a SSR with my pwm signal and conect 24volt in the open contact of the SSR?
      Thanks
