duet2wifi with two 12v power supplies with mosfet for each.

How do i wire the duet2wifi with two power supplies?
I have 2 mosfets as well.
My plan is to power the bed with one and the hotend with the other.
I'm not sure how to wire it and the duet board as well.
Please assist.

the hotend does not need its own mosfet. unlike board like the anet a8.
the hotbed will need its own mosfet if you exceed 15A.
my suggestion would be to wire one power supply to the duet board which powers everything except the hotbed. and connect the second power supply to the mosfet that powers the hotbed and wire the mosfet controls to the hotbed connector on the duet board.

@veti my bed takes forever to heat up and intermittent gets faults. Would it be better to use a 24v power supply? Does that work with standard home plugin

measure the resistance of your hotbed with the leads disconnected.
then calculate the power usage using P=V*V/R
-
NC Endstops are the preferred option because they trigger if you get a wire fall off one of them.

@veti Hi
Please can you tell why did you mention the endstop here. I too have a 2nd PSU and external mostfet, my intention is to do the same (heat the hotbed separately), but seeing that you brought here the endstop into discussion, I want to make sure I do not damage my Duet2 Wifi.
Thanks and regards
