      Hey Everyone,

      I have been doing a bit of reading on Non Planar 3D Printing and thought it would be fun to give it a crack. Currently it is only a Linux based version of Slic3r that has the functionality so I followed some instructions of how to set up and build the Linux version in Windows 10 built in Linux Environment and quickly set up the slicer. I don’t have a profile for Slic3r as I usually use cura so there is a wee bit of tuning to do. I am very impressed with the outcome. Here is video

      Even with the air pump part cooling I still had issues with it almost hitting the part so I turned it away.

            @samlogan87 Thanks for sharing this Sam. This is something else to add to my growing list of things to try. Like you, I saw the other thread, but unlike you, I haven't yet done anything about it.

                @samlogan87 Cheers. I've actually got an old laptop that I've recently put Manjaro Linux on, so that might be a better route for me. But aside from installing Manjaro, that's as far as I've got - I know absolutely nothing about Linux so that's another littler winter project. ☺

                  @deckingman
                  Yeah once you set it up it is pretty easy. You just need to measure the clearance height and angle. It is really cool to watch it go. If I was to do it more often, it is pretty limited as to what you can print unless you have that clearance. Still cool anyway
