      Hi all...

I am planing to upgrade in my existing 3D printer with Duet3 board. As well, thinking to upgrade Stepper motors. After extensive search i come up with two motor but cant decide on which one to stop. Both of them are similar in parameters and price.
Currently motors installed in printer are - 42HS48-1304 4jA05-D24

      1. Trinamic 47-28-040 - https://www.trinamic.com/fileadmin/assets/Products/Motors_Documents/QSH4218_manual.pdf.
      2. Nanotec ST4118L3004 - https://en.nanotec.com/products/376-st4118l3004-b/

      Thanks for your expert advises....

can you give us some more information.

what kind of printer do you have.
what current motors do you have?

        what your reason for upgrading?

After a quick glance, I would pick the Trinamic 47-28-040 because of the lower inductance and flatted shaft.
