      Hello all,

Recently purchased a set of MGN12 rails from Robotdigg. While I'm pleased with the quality, I'm not sure what type of lubrication they require.

Does anyone have any suggestions or examples of what they use?

Literature I have read (IKO) suggests the use of Alvania EP Grease 2, which appears to have been superseded by Shell Gadus S2 V220. McMaster Carr link for reference https://www.mcmaster.com/8670t13

This is a very useful PDF on linear guides, published by IKO

I used to use silicon grease filled with ptfe then I moved to silicon oil filled with ptfe ... this is the one I'm super happy with:
