Hi, maybe I am totally missunderstanding something but as far as I understand when setting up the Z-probe inverting the signal shoulf be the failsafe mode right?

      M558 P8 I1 R0.4 F300 T6000

But when I disconnect the probe in my DWC it shows a status of 0 and assumes the probe to be not triggered.
I tried leaving the signal normal (not inverted) but then I have the problem that it shows 1000 (triggert) when not touched and 0 when touched.

Can someone explain quick how to set up the Piezo universal V2.75 in failsafe mode? That would be really great!

Does the piezo allow you to select the output polarity you want? If so, set it to give an active high output, and remove the I1 parameter from your M558 command.
