I have one machine that is giving this error all of a sudden. It happens quite a lot as you can see:
26-11-2019 09:49:27 Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow
26-11-2019 09:49:24 Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow
26-11-2019 09:46:53 Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow
26-11-2019 09:14:06 Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow
26-11-2019 09:06:07 Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow
Error: G-Code buffer 'aux' length overflow

I do not know if it is related but in the PanelDue on that same machine i get several messages saying "Unknown command" but that does not show in the DWC. So I think it has something to do with only the PanelDue.
And this printer also randomly sets the hotend heater to standby mid-print resulting in a failed print.

I have replaced the SD card but that did not help.

How is the PanelDue connected? If you're using the ribbon cable, this can be a source of interference. If you are not using the SD card on the PanelDue, it's better to use the 4-wire cable.

I do not use the SD on the PanelDue. All files are transferred to the Duet SD with the DWC.
The panel is connected with the 4-pin cable.

Do you also get checksum error messages?

Nope. Upload is done when idle and no issues.

My guess is that either the PanelDue or (more likely) the cable has developed a fault.

That is for now my guess as well. I have disconnected it since yesterday and it hasn't paused but there were still errors in the console.
As of this morning I can't reach the printer anymore by DWC. Still printing though....

out of curiosity, do you have a password set on the printer?

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is
