So its got an IP so I can ping it, but the webui isnt reachable even using different web browsers (firefox and chrome) and my tablet as well as my desktop and multiple power cycling.

So what do I do next?

Ok, its jumping IPs, do any firmware updates allow for a static IP yet? It seems that the desktop Mac I have (and rarely use) and the duetwifi keep fighting over the same DHCP IP, the duetwifi loses and gets the next free IP 😞

You should be able to assign an IP to a MAC address in the router. Then you can assign specific IPs for the Mac and the Duet Wifi.

Yes assign an IP reservation on your router for the DuetWifi Mac address.

As far as I can tell I cant so assign, I'll google it may be hidden somewhere. well I found it, but when I set it up its trashes the router forcing a hard reset…..so that feature is buggered 😞

Does it work when the desktop Mac is switched off?
