Fan short circuit, how to fix?

@en_passant Hmm. Well that kinda stinks then. I will try and find it for you in the UK.

@en_passant Please try this link.

@en_passant I am glad I was able to help soneone today. It makes the day worth living and enjoying.

You can find them in the UK here https://www.co-star.co.uk/3758/mini-blade-fuse-1amp-black-pack-of-10-fbm-1-10/.
They are usually available from UK eBay suppliers too, but they seem to be out of stock of the 1A version at present.

@dc42 Doesn't Duet3D stock them?

I was able to find one supplier of these mini fuse 1A on amazon.fr
order them a box, then they cancel my order because out of stock...no way to find some in France...
and today I've received my panel duet 7 and cannot play with it

@carfnann From https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connector_and_spare_part_numbers#Section_Blade_fuses
PCB revisions 1.03 and later have a 1A mini auto blade fuse protecting the fan circuits when the fan voltage selection jumper is in the VIN position. You can increase the fuse rating to 2A or even 3A if your fans, air pumps etc. draw more than 1A in total.
It should be okay to fit up to 3A fuse temporarily, but please make sure you fit a 1A fuse when it becomes available. And turn off your machine before changing the wiring!

I purchased 10 from the link @dc42 supplied. I've checked and it shows they will post to outside UK but I don't know costs, see here:
I've also just fitted a 2A from this, until the 1A fuses arrive from the link above. May be worth looking at if they deliver to France or if there's an equivalent, if delivery from the other link may take some time.
I was slightly more concerned as to why the fuse blew but I've just fitted my E3D V6 fan and when I powered up it spun away so I'll switch that engineering side of my brain off for now.....

1a fuses must be far more common in North America.
