setting up my new duet wifi 2, connected by USB and setup YAT. Having plugged in endstop leads and confirming functionality, I switched off and continued connecting everything else. When I then switched on, had no WiFi indicator and could not connect via USB. Thoroughly checked everything. HELP!

          Hi
I am GraJay's tech guru and also use the duet 2 wifi myself so this PCB arrived for me to look at.
Initial inspection the firmware had been lost and connection possible via only via Bossa, looked at sd card and bin files (date/size) suggested it was shipped with 2.03 the same as im using so reinstalled firmware.
now limits work, thermistors work, heaters work, wifi works but not one of the steppers will move reporting motor phase A/B maybe disconnected while trying to jog them after using M564 S0 H0 to disable the home.
Even recreated the config from scratch bit still the same its like the SAM is not talking to the stepper drivers.

are you sure the motor phases are correctly identified? ref https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Choosing_and_connecting_stepper_motors#Section_Connecting_stepper_motors

if so then attach config file, run M122 in the web or USB console and share the output and consider a picture of the board. If its wired and configured correctly then its possible the SPI bus have failed.

              Hi,
Phases are confirmed correct, attached are the info (the config.g is just the basic created to eliminate that as a issue)

              config.g console.txt

Lack of line breaks on the console output makes it very hard to read, but...

This seems like a problem: MCU temperature: min 63.5, current 64.3, max 64.7
Even without temp calibration, that would be quite high. +- 15c

Can you confirm that the MCU is hot to the touch?

How old is the board and where was it purchased?

                    @Phaedrux Hi
Its warm to the touch, board is under a week old and has never seen service, as grayjay said worked one day was erased on next switch on.
Purchased from reprapworld.co.uk i think but grayjay can verify

Well that's a pretty bad sign. We'll replace under warranty, but please double check your wiring and ensure there are no shorts present so that it doesn't just kill the next board. So, assuming this is a recent purchase within the last 6 months from an authorized reseller please contact them and initiate a warranty claim.

The thermal image is of the board with only the supply connected, i will get grayjay to pursue warranty with the supplier and pass to me for connection this time.
