Tried a new setup on a different card. Can't connect to the Pi4, DWC or PuTTy doesn't connect. Put other card back, it connects, but won't keep printing. does show a low voltage on the screen just before to showes DWC. Tried the Pi0W again with the 2020-07-20-DuetPi.img, didn't connect.

      Next: direct connection, it works.

Looks like my Pi4 is flakey, need to get another one. Will know for sure in a few days.

Update: Got a new Pi4 from Adafruit with an acrylic case. Installed DuetPi OS with GUI and a fanshim. So far it works and seem to be a bit more responsive. Printed a magic fish just fine.

In a few days, we'll see if it stays working

Spoke too soon. It's doing it again. Going to ask for a new ribbon cable.

Received new ribbon cable, installed last Thursday. Worked fine Thursday and Saturday. Today it's once again stopping during the skirt. Emergancy stop needed to get any axes to move. The ribblon cable wasn't the problem. Can run in direct mode with no problems.

                    Disabled the write buffer:

@dc42 I've installed it. It's currently printing, but problem usually has taken a few days to show up. Will update later this week.

@dc42 So far, it's working fine. Had to change to my BLTouch v3.1 from the first original version.

Thanks. What was the problem with the older BLTouch?

@dc42 It would do a double tap on the bed. It would do it when homing Z, and doing the G29.

Watching it do it, the moment it would hit the bed, it would fully retract, but it would imediately redeploy and trigger again.

Watching the 3.1, it would trigger and not rectract completely, the full retract was delayed,
