I use one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Capacitive-1024x600-Display-Monitor-Raspberry/dp/B07YJDSCKR/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=HDMI+touch+screen&qid=1599046713&sr=8-16
Works very well and not to expensive.

Unless you have a PanelDue I'd go touch screen for the Pi. I like the Raspberry Pi touch screen because of the flat flex cable, but there are hdmi options with better screens, better resolution and/or better prices.
(i have both an old 4.3" and a newer i7" PanelDue + the Raspberry Pi touch screen, and PanelDue will be replaced as budget allows, but fairly low priority)

I've had both a 7" PanelDue and a 7" rPi touch screen. The rPI is the better/easier solution to implement, and provides more flexibility if you want to do other things with the screen later.

I have a 7” IPS screen with HDMI for my Pi that controls the Duet3 and I find it very hard to control the small interface that is not touch optimized. I’d go with a PanelDue if I’d do it again because of the interface.
I rather pick up a iPad or laptop than try to click those buttons or write anything on that 7” screen. -

i think you'd benefit from creating a topic to get help with setting up the screen or updating DWC to work around that as DWC is a responsive web app, and with the correct DPI setting for your screen it should work (as well as the screen size and resolution allows).

@bearer I have both a Due 7 panel and an original Raspberry display. Which other displays are best?
Except the one from the Amazon link above? However, I have not yet tested the original Raspberry display.
It should be for something else too.
