Babysteps and first layer

hi , i have Duet3 SBC setup and on predator delta printer and when i print i have to do babysteps +0.85 no matter what i do , i adjusted the paper z = 0 g92 z0 and saved and when i go G0 z0 the nozzle go and only scratch the paper which is perfect now when i print i need to do babay steps +0.85 i tried to adjust the H in the over ride same thing

If your G31 = Z-0.15 You need to add 1mm to your M665 H as Z0 should be just touching the bed not the paper if you send G1 Z0.1 then it should touch the paper just -

I don't use an override file for a delta you using a smart effector ?

after you adjust the offset of G31 you need to run delta calibration again and save the values in your config

The way I do it when I've needed to, is set the height M665 H before I calibrate so when you do G1 Z0.1 it goes to 0.1 with the bed at 60c
I save all the setings from the M500 override file in the config.g stuff like radius etc I leave endstops to calibration so 0.00 in config.g but I set the height 1st then set my trigger height
aagain at 60c bed calibration I do hotend 130c bed 60c and it just works doing it like that
once I'm happy with calibration I do a G29 but I delete the override file and don't have M501 in my config.g and until your setup is correct an override is I believe useless.
