As is understood G29 on an SBC setup needs a /sys/mesh.g because the command will be handled by the DWC .

I am using a SBC setup, therefore it would be great to understand how the mesh.g should be used.

I didnt found any doc's or infos.

@tobias_munich This only applies if you are running RRF 3.2b1; it has only recently been added. What firmware version are you using?

My understanding is that mesh.g for G29 is like bed.g for G32, ie you define what you want to run before running G29 S0 (which will probe the bed as normal using the M557 settings), for example home axes, or switch to the correct tool for probing, or clear any transformations etc.

There does seem to be a bug in RRF 3.2b1 when using an SBC, that means running G29 on it's own when there is no mesh.g does not run G29 S0; see https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/18777/g29-command-doesn-t-do-anything-on-version-3-2-beta-1
