Hi. I am having an issue where pressing a hardware emergency stop button and releasing it does not reset the board unless I click reset controller popup in DWC.

Here are the contents of my customconfig.g

; ADD ANY CUSTOM SETTINGS BELOW
      M950 J1 C"e1stop" ; Assign Pin1 to e1stop
      M581 P1 T0 S1 R0 ; Enable Emergency Stop Normally Closed
      M582 T0

        Hi,

Yes - that's the way it works.

What would you like it to do?

I would prefer that releasing the emergency stop button would reset the controller without having to click anything on the screen.

I'll hazard a guess that they do it the way it is now so you can stop whatever is going on and examine the state of the machine.

An automatic reset would make that impossible.
