Ender 5 Plus Duet 3 6hc
-
Hello all,
is it worth it if I buy Duet 3 6hc for Ender 5 Plus? Does anyone have Configuration for Ender 5 Plus to compare? I have read that there are many problems with the bltouch. With Duet forum I have read about it a lot , but still I need your help and experience -
@Kanzleralexander a duet 3 6HC is probably overkill for an ender 5.
Have you looked at the Duet 3 mini 5+? https://www.duet3d.com/Duet3Mini5plus
It has 5 onboard drivers, can be expanded to 7 with an additional board and also has the capability to the CAN boards. -
@jay_s_uk Duet 2 WiFi?
-
@Kanzleralexander the duet 2 wifi is also viable, but the 3 mini5+ has the option for CAN, easier SBC support if you want to go that route, uses 2209 drivers with stall detection etc and is cheaper

@jay_s_uk Duet 3 6hc with 5160 Drivers.
-
@Kanzleralexander yea, the duet 3 has 5160 drivers but they are overkill for a standard 3d printer. Do you need to driver motors over 2amp?
-
@jay_s_uk what about FLY?
-
@Kanzleralexander currently the LPC/STM port doesn't support 5160 drivers but 3.3 beta 1 is being released this afternoon and that does have 5160 support
-
the FLY RRF E3 is a drop in replacement for the ender board.
though the mini 5 would be my go to.

@Veti Configuration?
