Driver 3: short-to-ground
-
After period of perfect printing 1(4 months)with my toolchanger something strange occurs.
Every time I try to print (with T0) a cylinder with a 5 mm hole in the middle it goes wrong in the first layer.
But one a strange way. Starting gives no problem. The inner and outer wall (first layer) are printed perfectly.
As soon as T0 starts to fill the rest I get a strange sound from the extruder and the warning “error: short-to-ground reported by driver(s) 3”.
After searching on the internet I can only make the conclusion Duet board. Maybe you have another solution.

Can you post your config.g as well?
Does T0 work otherwise?
Can you test driver 3 with a different motor? And test the motor with a different driver?

testing know a rectangle (box).
first layer perfect
second layer after a little part of that layer extruder starts to vibrate again with the same error.
When I release the spring pressure for rhat extruder you can see it is not rotating any more but only vibrating. -
It sounds like the cabling for the extruder motor may be strained and having an intermittent connection after a bit of movement. Does the motor have a plug on the body or do the wires come straight out of the motor?

One thing I notice in your config is that your jerk values for Z and E are incredibly slow.
M566 X400 Y400 Z8 C2 E2:2:2:2 ; Set maximum instantaneous speed changes (mm/min)
2mm/min is 0.03mm/s. this is even below the minimum default allowed of 0.1mm/sec.
A more typical jerk value for extruder is 3000mm/min

What Duet board is this? Can you provide the results of M122 and M98 "P"config.g" please?
