Help with GEEETECH A30 printer
-
I'm having problems creating the SD card content for the GEEETECH A30 I've already used the RRF Config Tool and I'm not working anything mem the motors nor the end stops switch mem the filament detector nor fans nor the IR Probe .
Or sega I'm more than 1 month trying and I'm asking for help my DUET2 WiFi card didn't have SD card, so I'm completely lost.
I don't have much experience in tinkering with programming yet.
If you can help me, I would be very grateful. -
@luis-filipe Looking at the GEEETECH A30 information, it doesn't look like that printer uses a DUET2 board. (I'm ready to be wrong about this, I just took a quick look to see if they had any links to DUET2 configurations and I didn't find any.)
Did you replace the original controller board with a DUET2 yourself?
Can you connect to the machine using a web browser?
If so, what is working on the machine?
Can you go to the "Console" tab and type M115 and post the results here so we can see what firmware is installed?
That will be a good start.
There will be a lot more questions from people willing to help you get your machine working.

@alankilian Yes, I was the one who replaced the motherboard because I was having a lot of problems with the original one.
Yes, I can connect via RRF Duet 2 WiFi through the browser, and I can heat up the hot end and the hot bed, nothing else works.
Is someone who has managed to get the GEEETECH A30 to work with the DUET2 WiFi that shares the config.g file. -
@alankilian So here is my config.g file.

@luis-filipe OK, that's great so far. Good work getting the board installed.
I'm not a gonfig.g expert, but everything looks good to me in there also.
Now, we'll try to get motion working.
- Type in M115 and post the results here.
- Does clicking the "Home" button do anything?
- Post your homeall.g, homex.g homey.g and homez.g files so we can take a look at them.

Here's a detailed commissioning guide for a similar cartesian printer. It's not exactly the same but it might give you an idea of what's all involved and how to test things.

@phaedrux Thank you I will take a look

@luis-filipe Hello Luis, hello Duet users. I have the Duet3 wifi5+ board that I am now in the RRF Config Tool state. I would appreciate if someone could share the config files for the Geeetech A30 printer.
Thank you,
Catalin
