Can you describe the problem in a bit more detail? I'm not sure what you mean by this.

Also please upload your config.g file. The config.json file is meant for the online config tool and is not human readable. It also doesn't reflect what your config.g is right now if you've manually changed it.

              Hi,

In the future if you could copy-and-paste your files using the </> tag it makes it easier for all to read without having to download.

When you click the </> in the toolbar you will get an opening line of three accent characters, a line saying undefined and then a closing line of three accent characters.

You replace undefined with your pasted code.

I have done so below with your config.g file so you can see how it works.

In your M208 commands your Z min is set to 400 and your Z max is set to 800.

I think you want that to be Z min of 0 and Z max of 400.

Well that G92 is saying Z is at 800 when it is likely nearer 400.

The point of the G92 is to adjust for where the endstop actually triggers.

A G1 H1 Z499 command would move until the endstop triggers. At the point the Z logical position would be set to Z max as set in your M208.

But suppose your Z endstop actually triggers at 395. In that case you would use G92 Z395 so the logical position (where the firmware thinks Z is) would match the physical position (where the endstop actually triggered).

However you may want to move your Z endstop (if possible) to trigger at the Z min end of the axis, which will save time when homing Z.

+Z should move the nozzle and bed farther apart.
-Z should move them closer together.

Is this how it is on your printer?

You currently have it configured for a Z max endstop, meaning the endstop is at the farthest point away from the bed. Is that actually the case?

You could reload your config.json file into the online tool and make your changes and then save the new set of files, that may be easiest since it would require changes to the endstop definition, and your homing files to get everything going in the correct direction. It may or may not also require a change to the motor direction.

All of this can be done manually by editing your existing files as well. The config tool gives a good starting point, but eventually most people will begin editing the files directly.

The endstop change for instance, This:
                              M574 Z2 S1 P"!zstop"
                              would become this:
                              M574 Z1 S1 P"!zstop"
Z1 means low end of travel. Z2 means high end of travel.

For the homing file changes, this:

                              G1 H1 Z405 F360 ; move Z up stopping at the endstop
                              G90 ; absolute positioning
G92 Z800 ; set Z position to axis maximum (you may want to adjust this)

                              would become this:

                              G1 H1 Z-405 F360 ; move Z up stopping at the endstop

Z405 is positive upward movement, Z-405 is negative downward movement.

@phaedrux one last thing if you don't mind. my heat bed is faulting out because it is not heating fast enough i think it said with in 1.3 c a sec. my question is would it be ok to disable that or make it for a longer window to allow to heat? any guidance?
