      Hello Everybody,

thanks to all for sharing so much info !
note : the printer was working fine before i triyed to adapt the BLtouch fixation. and this below happen...

I have tevo Little Monster with a Duet 2 Wifi (Circuit: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later) and a BLtouch Smart V3+ (with the plastic pin)
I just updated the from RRF2 to RRF3.0 (RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet 3.0 (2020-01-03b3)) (not yet other upper rev). with Duet WiFi Server Version: 1.23
I changed the Config and override config with the support of this post https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/18821/tevo-little-monster-calibration-issues-with-rrf-3-1-1
the white wire is on Z-Probe in
the black wire is on GND
the red wire on 1) +5V
the brown wire on 2) GND
the Yellow wire on 13) Heater4

directly from the bltouch (no intermediate wire)

my BL touch is deploying/retracting when using
      M280 P0 S10; deploy
      M280 P0 S90 I1; retract
M401 and M402 are working fine
G30 don't cause the pin to drop.

I did follow the commissioning guide https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connecting_a_Z_probe#Section_Commissioning_Testing_RepRapFirmware_Num_3

But on the Duet Web Control, the Z-probe value remain at 0 unless when I try (maintain with my finger) to stop deploying (like if it was touching the bed). in that case only
the Z probe value swith to 1000 in a red cell. it does the same if i disconnect the black and white wire.

when i start the printer, the Bl touche out/in twice.
then i push the homing button, the printer move well up to the limit switch but then give me value of 9999.9 on each axis

i read a lot but don't find why this behavior happen even if i have the feeling it is a f....g stupid things i missed. i do apologize for my english, i'm french...
i tryed another BLtouch and did the same... next step would be to change the board
Any help or idea are more than welcome...

      below the config and override.

I would suggest you continue the firmware update process and go to 3.3 immediately. Do not stop at 3.0.

Upload this zip file to the system tab in DWC.

        https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/3.3/Duet2and3Firmware-3.3.zip

But on the Duet Web Control, the Z-probe value remain at 0 unless when I try (maintain with my finger) to stop deploying (like if it was touching the bed). in that case only
the Z probe value swith to 1000 in a red cell. it does the same if i disconnect the black and white wire.

In normal usage you will not be able to see the actual trigger event of the BLTouch since it triggers and immediately resets. It doesn't stay in the triggered state.

when i start the printer, the Bl touche out/in twice.

That means you have power at least.

then i push the homing button, the printer move well up to the limit switch but then give me value of 9999.9 on each axis

Then something is possibly wrong with your homedelta.g file. Please post it.

To use the BLTouch you would need to setup your bed.g file to do an auto calibration to actually probe the surface of the bed. G28 will only home the towers to the top endstops.

        ; Endstops RRF3
        M574 X1 S1 P"xstop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on X via pin xstop
        M574 Y1 S1 P"ystop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on Y via pin ystop
        M574 Z1 S1 P"zstop" ; configure active-high endstop for low end on Z via pin zstop

The endstop definition is incorrect. In a delta the endstops are at the top of the towers. So the X Y Z values should be 2 for high end of travel. M574 X2 Y2 Z2 etc.

Test your bltouch pin by sending M401 and M402. If that works, then you can test the probe movement itself with G30.

@bryce said in Bltouch not probing:

        CONFIG OVERRIDE

This looks like it was formated for RRF2. I suggest you delete it and create it fresh by sending M500 again.

the firmware is updated to 3.3.
I was reluctant/worried to remake the config files... but... yeah... it will better you're right ! i looked at the 3 links, i can make it !! (cross finger)
          M401 and M402 was working.
