      Duet 3 RRF3.3
      SBC Rpi4
      Toolboard v1.1

I have dual 24v 4010 blowers for layer cooling. Because there's only 2 12/24v fan outputs I have to splice the fans together. I have an inductive sensor as a probe so my Io0.out is open. I was wondering if it's possible to connect the hotend fan's positive wire to VIN and use Io0.out to control it thermostatically?

@dhusolo no, as theres no mosfet to control it. What do you need 3 fans for?

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

@dhusolo as @jay_s_uk says thats not possible those IOs work at 5V and can only source/sink a few mA.

There should be no issue running both part cooling fans from out 1 or out 2 at 24V in parallel (obviously with the jumper set for VIN and 24V supplied to the toolboard)
