I have made the switch from a Duet 2 wi-fi to a Duet 3 6hc (v.1.01a) and have some problems with DWC updates.
I started Duet 3 with the SBC setup, but for now I prefer to use the stand alone mode.
The motherboard came with FW. 3.3 and DWC 3.3.
I have updated the motherboard firmware to the latest 3.4 B5 but I am having difficulty updating the DWC to version 3.4 B5.
The printer is configured and fully functional.
As for the Duet 2 I updated all through DWC 3.3. Mainboard firmware and Paneldue firmware is upgraded without problems, but when I update the DWC and go from 3.3 to 3.4b5 the update is finalized regularly but as soon as I update the web page, it returns to the previous ver. 3.3.
In addition, the plug-ins don't work.
I also had the same DWC update problem in SBC mode.
Thanks for the suggestions that will come.

@gianluca how are you updating DWC?

I would get the DuetWebControl-SD.zip from here:
      https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/tag/3.4.0beta5

The use the "upload system Files" in DWC -> system to upload it and install it.

If that does not work then you can put the contents of the zip in the "www" directory on the SD card using your PC.

As @jay_s_uk says use the unstable branch to update in SBC mode.

@t3p3tony its an SBC so he needs to switch to the unstable branch

Now I'm run stand alone mode, I have already tried to upgrade both from DWC, and also by copying the DWC folder downloaded from Gitub directly into the WWW folder of the SD.
The update is done, I see the updated DWC, but when I reload the page in the browser it returns to the previous DWC 3.3 ...

@gianluca sounds like a cache issue. try clearing the cache or a different browser to confirm

Yes, it could be a Firefox error... in addition, I also have an error on the execution of DWC the internal plugins, this evening I write exactly the error found ...
I also did various tests with SD of different sizes and with various formatting mode.

I have successfully updated the DWC through Microsoft Edge. It worked stably. With Duet 2 and Mozilla Firefox there have never been any update problems. Anyway problem solved.
