just for clarity: Is this a maintenance release for the old Paneldue firmware releases? Will it also work on v1 Paneldues?

@oliof yes it's a maintenance release for those unable to use more recent PanelDue firmware, and it will work on v1 PanelDues; but it won't bring anything new to users who were already running the previous 1.x release. The sole purpose of this release is to accommodate the different backlight chip that was fitted to some recently-manufactured integrated PanelDues because of the ongoing electronic component shortage.
