      I want to know if it is Possible to use for example io2_out on the Expansion Board 1XD
      together with M452

      Original Command:

      M452 C"out9" R255 F200

      Modified Command:
      (for CAN Address 40)

      M452 C"40.io2_out" R255 F200

      or is the Firmware not able to use it?
      at the moment i cannot test it because i wait for the 1XD Board.

        @neueklasse I'm sorry, it's not supported. The reason is that the code to control the laser power has to adjust it dynamically according the the instantaneous speed of the move.

          @dc42
          Would it help to implement PPI mode into the 1XD firmware? That way the stepper pulses of the motor would be the base for the power output and it wouldn't be speed related anymore.

            @o_lampe RRF already uses PPI mode.

            It would be possible to support lasers connected to expansion boards, but quite a lot of work, so I am only likely to implement it if several users or an OEM need it.
